Four villas, each with a unique appearance, forming a single living environment in which you will feel right at home

The RAND villas comprise a fully reconstructed two-storey building in the courtyard on the Suur-Patarei Street side and three five-storey buildings on the new Kalaranna Street side.

The architects have given every building its own look, matching them to historical timber facades using both contemporary timber finishing and clay bricks and concrete in a range of natural tones. The four buildings share a park-like courtyard where there are private landscaped areas for adults and play areas for kids.

The characteristic detail of this building is the light-coloured horizontal stripes adorning it, which are constructed from concrete. Dark diagonal timber boarding adds a note of contrast to the stripes.

Villa 4 – the proud Titian

This red-bricked beauty stands on the corner of Suur-Patarei and Kalaranna Streets. It stands out for its rounded edges, while its glassed French balconies add another unique touch, and the stairs leading up to the entrance on the Suur-Patarei Street side lend the building a sense of grandeur.

The keywords where the interior finish is concerned are ‘natural’ and ‘dignified’.

Underscoring the elegance of the RAND villas and ensuring the healthy internal climate of the apartments are high-class, environmentally friendly materials. You can choose the interior finishing package that best suits your taste from the packages offered, which have been specially designed to fit in with the architecture of the district. The packages were developed in cooperation with interior designer Kadri Tamme.

Power and contrast

A solution designed for bold contrasts. There is no overall tone. The floor can be black and the walls a lighter colour. Interior design is based on the contrasts throughout. The gleam of brass in the tapware adds a special accent. Here it is all about real materials: stone, timber and brass.

Retro

The style of this package was inspired by the historical building that has been preserved at Suur-Patarei 20. Hints of classicist layout are combined with Nordic crispness. This is exactly the story told by the French herringbone pattern of the whitewashed oak parquet and the bevelled ceramic tiles.
