On 2 November, the most competitive companies in Estonia in 2024 were announced. AS Merko Ehitus was named the most competitive company in the field of construction.
AS Merko Ehitus consolidates the operations and results of Merko’s subsidiaries in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. This recognition marked the eighteenth time the Merko Group has been highlighted as the most notable company in the Estonian construction sector.
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has compiled the Estonian Companies’ Competitiveness Ranking since 2003. Within the framework of the competition, the general companies’ competitiveness ranking is compiled on the basis of economic indicators. The indicators of economic activities of the last two years are taken into account – sales revenue, net profit, labour costs, equity and annual average number of employees.
