Merko starts work on the interior of Arter

Under the agreement reached in November, we are currently doing work on the interior of the rental spaces in Arter business complex, covering 26,000 square metres of space.

Kapitel is developing and Merko is building a high-quality and healthful work environment in Arter, meant for companies who value their employees. The business park, to be completed in autumn 2024, has a total of 38,000 square metres of tenant space and outdoor areas, and another 3000 square metres in the form of a public city park. The deadline for the work on the interior done in the tenant units as part of the agreement on additional works is spring 2025.

Arter consists of a building that at 28 storeys and 111 metres is Estonia’s highest office building; a 15-storey office building, a nine-storey apartment building and a central building connecting them along with a parking garage. There will be 29,000 square metres of class A office space, 3000 square metres of rental apartments and 6000 square metres of floor space for restaurants and service providers. Over 2000 employees will work in the complex daily.

Nearly zero-energy buildings featuring environmentally friendly solutions were designed and will be built according to the Excellent tier of the international BREEAM standard. The building’s heating and cooling rely on energy piles and district cooling. The parking garage with two levels underground has a total of 470 parking spaces, a car wash, Estonia’s largest bicycle parking facility with a bike wash and maintenance areas, and dressing rooms and showers.
