Merko constructs modern 14-storey apartment buildings in Paepargi
Merko has launched the fourth phase of the Paepargi apartment development and started the construction of the first of three buildings, located at Paepargi 49 and to be completed in late 2015. The 14-storey building has 60 flats, with two especially luxurious penthouse apartments on the top storey, featuring high ceilings, spacious terraces, a great view, air conditioning system and a smart home solution.
“Paepargi is becoming a better-rounded living environment with each development phase, and the good location and infrastructure and the Paepargi recreational area being at the core of the environment. The new modern 14-storey apartment buildings fit in well with the architecture in the area and offering residents good views of the surroundings and Lake Ülemiste, the Old Town and the sea,” said Merko sales manager Irina Mutli. Merko has sold over 150 apartments in the nine buildings completed in the first three stages.
The improved utility systems in the new apartment buildings include a separate ventilation system for each apartment and floor heating. The apartments on the top two storeys meet the preferences of very demanding clients, and include in the standard set of features a sauna, air conditioning and smart home solutions. Exclusive penthouse apartments of about 120 square metres and 3-metre-high ceilings are located on the 14th storey. The windows and a total of 40 square metres of terraces of the penthouse apartments offer incomparable views of Paepargi pond, Lake Ülemiste, the Old Town and the sea. The penthouse apartments have an excellent price to quality ratio, considering their spaciousness, the technical utility systems, views and location and the fact that the price includes a storage area and parking space in the ground floor garage,” added Mutli.
The fourth phase of Paepargi includes three 14-storey apartment buildings at Paepargi 49, 51 and 53, equipped with a lift, designed by the architects at AB Luhse & Tuhal and interior architects Eerik Olle and Ahti Peetersoo. The first six storeys have 1-3-room apartments and the 7th through the 14th storeys have 2-4-room flats. Home buyers can choose from four interior finishing packages. The price per square metre of the apartments in the new development phase ranges from 1800-2250 euros.
The Paepargi apartment buildings are located in the Sikupilli neighbourhood in Pae Park, in the immediate visibly of the city centre and Kadriorg district. Once a limestone quarry, the area has been transformed into a scenic pond, surrounded by a well-groomed park with fountain, bridge, observation platforms, playground and bicycle and footpaths. For the physically active, there is a pine bark mulch-covered ski trail running alongside the asphalt-surfaced sidewalk. The ski trail can be used by joggers in the summer. An area with stretching and exercise equipment and a petanque (lawn bowling) ground have also been established.
