The Lahekalda residential quarter, surrounded by nature, feels like a private small town of its own. On one side lies Kadriorg, known for its culture and fine dining, and on the other Pirita, with its seaside promenade, yacht club, monastery ruins, and restaurants. Lahekalda is more than just a residential area – its well-planned and continually evolving environment fosters a close-knit and forward-thinking community.
Naturalness and closeness to nature
The three-room model apartment on the fifth floor of Paekalda 23/1 draws inspiration from the “Maa” interior finishing package, which is rooted in natural textures and earthy tones. The wooden and softly beige hues of the living spaces are beautifully balanced by dark grey tiles with rusty undertones, creating a harmonious and serene atmosphere.
The interior palette features light and warm tones, giving the home a bright and spacious feeling. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the rooms with sunlight and gentle reflections. To create contrast and depth, several dark green elements have been introduced – including blackout curtains in the bedrooms and a bold jungle-themed wallpaper in the hallway and children’s room, adding a touch of tropical adventure.
Outstanding finish
In the hallway, a Schmidt wardrobe with mirrored doors enhances the sense of space, while the nature-inspired wallpaper brings the outdoors in. The custom wardrobe in the bedroom, also by Schmidt, features a distinctive printed surface from Christian Lacroix’s exclusive collection, adding playful elegance and artistic flair.
Kitchen
The Arcos Soft Clay kitchen furniture, crafted by Schmidt, features a highly durable Dekton worktop, both functional and stylish. One of the apartment’s most striking pieces is a majestic solid wood dining table by Estonian manufacturer Oriens, appearing almost to float in mid-air thanks to its light and sculptural form.
Domestic products
The apartment highlights several Estonian-made designs – including the Knox sofa by Furgner and handcrafted beds and mattresses by Slept. The interior is completed with artworks by Loreida Hein, the interior architect behind the model apartment’s concept.
This stunning model apartment has already been reserved, but ready-to-move-in apartments are still available in the Paekalda 23/1 and 23/2 buildings – also, the Paekalda 21 building will be completed soon.
