Lahekalda is a rapidly developing new residential district where new modern buildings will be erected. In addition to more than a thousand apartments, a kindergarten and a convenience store are planned in the area.
In Lahekalda district, beauty, fun and activities are right there, but once you get home, you can completely tune out and enjoy idyllic peace and privacy. In short – get the best of both worlds!
Situated on the nearly seventy-hectare naturally beautiful Maarjamäe limestone bank, these apartment buildings rise to just the right height from sea level to provide amazing views of the sea and city centre towers. Pirita beach promenade rests only an 800-meter walk away from Lahekalda – Mäe Street will take you on foot or by bike to the seaside whenever you like.
The nearby natural environment finds a powerful outlet in the neighbouring pine forest, while the running and walking trail in Pirita awaits exercise lovers. To bring nature to your door, Lahekalda will feature parks full of grandiose trees and beautiful plants as well as cosy courtyards perfect for relaxation any time of the year. Kids will rejoice in each building’s very own playground, while grownups enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and comfortable benches in private lighted recreation areas, delving in a book or playing a game of table tennis with friends.
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, an elevator in each hallway and a separate storage area for strollers and bicycles come in handy indeed and make life more convenient in Lahekalda. Other necessities fit conveniently in the spacious storage rooms on the buildings’ first floor. Cars are easily parked on street level, in parking spots in covered shelters, and in the yard area away from the recreation and play areas. Thoroughly thought-through layouts both inside the buildings and in the lusciously green outdoor areas establish a cosy and comforting sense of home for every resident.
The architect for the first homes in Lahekalda residential district was Ilmar Klammer, while the smart layouts were created by Merko in cooperation with interior architect Ahti Peetersoo. Interior finishing packages were compiled by interior architects Toomas Korb and Aet Grigorjev from architecture bureau PINK.
The architectural solution for the buildings at Paekalda 23 was created by architects with architecture bureau PLUSS and interior finishing packages were developed by LÄVI interior architects.
Lahekalda is a perfect home for smaller and larger families alike.
