Construction of Tihase apartment buildings to begin
As part of the Tihase development project, apartment buildings with 46 apartments and three commercial spaces will be constructed on the corner of Sõpruse pst and Tihase str in Tallinn. The new, contemporary-designed buildings, blended into the greenery of the Kristiine district, will be completed in the first half of 2024.
We are building two five-storey apartment buildings at Sõpruse pst 26//28 as part of the Tihase development project (merko.ee/tihase). The buildings have cosy two- to four-room apartments with sizes ranging from 51 to 132 square metres. In order to maximise the amount of sunlight, most of the apartments have a floor plan that extends through the building.
“Tihase homes connect two different worlds. On one side is the family-friendly and cosy garden town of Kristiine, while on the other side is a convenient transport connection to the heart of the city. In order to emphasise the greenness of the area and extend the feeling of home beyond the apartments, we have placed great emphasis on the creation of balconies, loggias, terraces and outdoor areas in the project,” said development manager of the Tihase project Taavi Kotkas.
All the apartments in Tihase have balconies, loggias and/or terraces for year-round comfort. For the first-floor apartments, the terrace is complemented by a private courtyard, and the roof terraces of the top-floor apartments include both a glazed winter garden and a mini outdoor pool. As an area intended for all residents, a cosy courtyard will be built next to the apartment buildings, with lush greenery around the common recreation and play areas.
Business spaces suitable for small businesses are located on the first floor of the building, and the underground floor connecting the two apartment buildings is intended for bicycles, cars and storage spaces.
The underground floor of the buildings combines the practical with the beautiful. All the parking spaces are prepared for the installation of an electric car charger; in addition to storing and maintaining your bicycle, you can also wash it in the bicycle room, as well as charge your electric scooter or personal transporter in the storage area. The standard interior concrete walls have been covered with an eye-catching and welcoming finish, which creates a sense of home from the moment you enter the building.
The architectural solution for Tihase apartment buildings has been created by Luhse & Tuhal architecture office. The apartment plans and interior finishing packages were created in cooperation with LÄVI interior architects, and the landscape architect is Signe Kasepalu.
