Merko buildings have a healthy and comfortable indoor climate. Some of our buildings have smart home solutions, in which a smartphone or tablet can be used to control the heating and ventilation, check the meters and open the front door to visitors.

We want everyone to feel good in a Merko building. To that end, we create carefully planned, functional and spacious premises in cooperation with acclaimed architects. 

To provide lasting value, we use high-quality equipment and finishing materials. To add a personal touch, the customer can submit special requests until about the middle of the construction period – when we place the final finishing orders with our suppliers.

Energy savings and cost efficiency

Merko commercial premises are in low-energy buildings with energy-efficient solutions. We have experience building energy class A houses since 2013. From 2020, we will only apply for building permits for new development projects involving the construction of near zero-energy buildings.

We consider the practical shape of the building and choose the best possible locations for commercial premises. We use efficient heat-recovery ventilation systems; external wall structures, doors and windows have good heat and sound resistance.

Security solutions

We use central key systems and copy-protected keys, which come with a security card. The entrances to buildings are equipped with intercoms. In addition, all commercial premises have security alarm readiness.

We build lit roads and streets around the houses. We consider the needs of all users when planning parking and outdoor areas.

Quality work

Quality is important to us in planning and design as well as in construction and interior decoration. With more than 30 years of experience, we know how to keep to project deadlines and Merko’s high standards; our subcontractors and partners are required to do the same.

We involve qualified owner supervision professionals. While the site team is responsible for continuous supervision, Merko quality specialists also check compliance and consult on technical issues. For larger procurements, we check the conformity of the products even before they are delivered by the supplier.
