TalTech supporters honoured

Merko supports engineering with the aim of developing the field and training the next generation of professionals for its own workforce and the entire construction sector.

These efforts were acknowledged recently with a letter of gratitude from Tallinn University of Technology for contributing to development in Estonian society. The university also bestowed the title of TalTech supporter on Merko Ehitus Eesti.

Merko’s goal is to enrich curricula, support youth education and organise student events that are educational and popularize engineering. Since 2007, we recognize engineering students in the civil engineering faculty and young researchers and teachers who contribute to education at the university level with scholarships handed out in cooperation with the TalTech development fund.

We help make the civil engineering education provided at the university more practical by Merko employees acting as visiting lecturers, by supervision of final theses, joint visits to sites and internships for future civil engineers.
