How do we work?
We care about the surroundings – we minimise our impact and ensure safety
To reduce the direct impact of quarrying, we erect barriers to prevent dust and noise. We plan exits from quarries in cooperation with local governments and the Transport Agency to be as safe as possible, and we organize delivery routes so that they do not pass through densely populated areas.
We quarry responsibly and monitor environmental impacts
Our activities comply with environmental standards and requirements, ensuring that we quarry responsibly and sustainably. In cooperation with the Environmental Board, we continuously monitor dust, groundwater, and noise levels during the extraction of mineral resources.
We support local communities and initiatives
We contribute to local community initiatives and projects that promote the well-being of the region. Our employees do not commute to work in our quarries from elsewhere; most of them live and work in the vicinity of the quarries.
We restore and landscape old quarry sites
When quarrying ends, we clean up the land and restore the natural landscape. We have created swimming areas and planted pine forests on several former quarry sites, creating the conditions for a new ecosystem to develop.
