Merko started the construction of the five-story Matilda House in Kassisaba district
Merko started construction of a five-story modern apartment building at Paldiski Road 21 in Kassisaba. The public sale of the 20 apartments and two commercial spaces in the building, which will be completed by the end of 2019, begins today.
The Matilda House is located in the Kassisaba urban region, less than half a kilometer from the border of Tallinn Old Town and less than a kilometer walk from the Telliskivi Creative Hub.
“We have been developing the Matilda House having in mind a person who is looking for a modern and comfortable place to live, appreciates the opportunity to enjoy culture and city life close to home, and values high-quality construction and elegant interior design,” commented Tiit Kuusik, Director of the Property Development Division of Merko Ehitus Eesti. “We offer a good location, well-thought-out spatial plans and technical solutions that increase the quality of life,” Kuusik added.
Matilda House has five on-the-ground floors and one underground floor. The elegant and modern facade of the building enlivened by vigorous forms combined with a fine facade pattern that seamlessly fits the new building into an ensemble of the neighboring buildings. The architect of the building is Raivo Puusepp, and the selection of interior design solutions was created by interior designer Ahti Peetersoo.
Commercial premises accessible from the street are located on the ground floor of the building. The sizes of two to four-room apartments range from 62 to 113 square meters and are located on the second to fifth floors of the building.
All apartments have spacious windows, a balcony or a terrace and a storage room. The apartments have water floor heating controlled per room, and apartment-based forced ventilation with heat recovery. Prices for apartments range from 2,500 to 2,900 euros per square meter.
The car can be parked in a heated underground floor car park or ground-level parking spaces under the building. The building will be made more convenient by an elevator, and a courtyard with a green area will be established behind the building.
