Merko is the best-known and most trusted real estate developer

We successfully defended our title of Estonia’s most renowned and prestigious real estate development company for a sixth year in a row – 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, the annual survey conducted by Kantar Emor revealed.

Kantar Emor’s new real estate survey shows that Merko continues to be the best-known Estonian real estate developer both based on spontaneous name recognition and when respondents picked companies from a list. In addition, the survey found that we were, along with Liven, Estonia’s most prestigious developers. The combined reputability score consists of three criteria: people’s general attitude toward the brand, opinion as to the company’s success, and attractiveness of developments. Merko received the highest ratings in the success criterion. Liven’s strength lay in attractive developments and the general appeal of its brand.

The study also mapped the image of the best-known real estate brands according to various attributes. Respondents continued to associate Merko with qualities like “trustworthy”, “good quality” and “professional in everything”. The locations of our developments and apartment layouts also elicited high ratings.

A total of 440 respondents took part in the online survey conducted by Kantar Emor in September and October.
