Merko awards brand-new Toyota Hilux to its best cooperation partner
Some 180 companies took part in the Estonian part of a partner recognition campaign held by Merko Ehitus in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The grand prize, a two-year lease on a brand-new Toyota Hilux, was awarded to AS SA.MET, a company that performs construction on technical utility systems within buildings. Merko’s design development teams selected the company as the best cooperation partner on the strength of its work on the Noblessner, Tartu mnt 52 and Tapa barracks projects.
“Every project is completed thanks to our own professional team and good cooperation with customers and partners in cooperation. We thank all of our suppliers and partners who do so much on an everyday basis to ensure that Merko sites are completed in a high quality manner, and for being honest and trustworthy partners for us. We have been working with the grand prize winner SA.MET for around 15 years on Kumu Art Museum of Estonia, the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, Tondiraba Ice Rink, Hotell Tallink and Tallink Spa and various office building and apartment buildings,” said member of the AS Merko Ehitus Eesti management board Jaan Mäe.
“The Merko-awarded prize for best cooperation partner is a great honour for us, all the more so considering the competition was strong,” said AS SA.MET project manager Raivo Lipping, who is the company’s main liaison on Merko’s current sites as well. “The use of a Toyota Hilux is a praiseworthy gift for our construction company, as its practical features and potential extras are ideally suited to our everyday work.
“We congratulate all of the selected companies for the recognition and the award winner for their good luck in the final drawing. A Toyota Hilux is a superb choice and Toyota has supported people in their work for more than 50 years. We are overwhelmingly the first pick both globally and in the Baltics, and we’re sure that Hilux will serve the award winner,” said Toyota Baltic AS marketing division director Marek Maide.
