If you want to travel out of the city, Lahekalda offers quick access via Narva Road to the Tallinn ring road without having to pass through the city centre. From there, you can conveniently continue towards Tartu, Narva, Pärnu or the islands. Within a 20-minute drive, you will also reach all major transport hubs: the airport, bus station and Balti Jaam railway station.

- The Maarjamäe limestone cliff paths and stairways are located right next to the quarter and are ideal for shorter walks or dog walking.
- Kadriorg Park is about 1.5 km away, offering a calm and green environment for walking, jogging or relaxing.
- Reidi tee is a spacious seaside promenade of about 2 km, ideal for cycling, walking or running. It is located about 2.5 km from Lahekalda.
- Cycling enthusiasts can easily head towards Pirita road and continue to the Viimsi peninsula, where a variety of cycling routes of different lengths are available.
