Merko launched construction of five-storey apartment building in Kristiine district
Merko started the construction of a modern five-storey apartment building at Rästa 18 in the Kristiine district of Tallinn. The construction is estimated to be completed by the end of 2015. The building has the same architectural solution as the adjacent Tedre 55 house that has now been sold.
“The Kristiine district is highly prized among apartment buyers due to its green nature, quiet streets and privacy. Public transport and arterial streets, kindergartens and schools, sport facilities and shopping and other essentials are all nearby,” said AS Merko Ehitus Eesti residential construction division director Tiit Kuusik.
“Rästa 18 will go up next to the Tedre 55 building developed and built by Merko and this is a building with the same architectural solution, yet in mirror image. Together the buildings make up an integral living environment,” added Kuusik. The architect of both the Tedre 55 and Rästa 18 building is Janno Põldme.
The five-storey building at Rästa 18 offers a high-quality, secure and holistically designed environment. The building will have 47 apartments, all with open floor plans and light-filled terraces or balconies. Commercial space will be located on the ground floor. The building has three glass elevators, storage spaces and parking spaces in a convenient, heated underground parking garage. The prices of the flats in Rästa 18 range from 1,700 to 2,500 euros per square metre.
